Founded in 1982 the Winterthur Cricket Club plays cricket in the Swiss town of Winterthur, approximately 25 kilometres east of Zurich and is fully associated to the Swiss Cricket Association. Winterthur play on an artificial grass surface located between two football fields and have been known to boast one of the largest and finest grounds in the country.
