VaasaCC is the northern most cricket club actively playing competitive cricket in Finland. The club was registered with the Finnish Cricket Association FCA in late 2006. In 2007 VaasaCC took part in their first ever Indoor tournamanent in Turku and also competed in the T20 tournamanent organised by the FCA. It was a proud year for VaasaCC as we missed very closely to take part in the T20 Finals, but were nonetheless proud to end up fourth in the entire tournament in our very first year. VaasaCC took part in the SM 40 league in the year 2008 and surprised everyone with their 5 straight wins but loosing their focus in the end due to unavailability of some of their key players.
