Since its foundation in 1983 Concordia C.C. sees itself as the spearhead of both Cricket in Austria and of Cricket for Austrians. It is our aim to play Cricket at the highest possible level and – at the same time – to introduce as many Austrians as possible to the game. Currently, about half of its playing members are Austrians, the others origin mainly from Australia, India and Sri Lanka. Throughout the 1980s and the early 1990s Concordia was by far the most successful club in Austria. Among the best teams in central Europe none fielded nearly as many natives. After a couple of club splits which caused a few drawbacks Concordia is now back on its way to the top of Austrian Cricket.
